Writing a New Story

For many of us, the new year marks a time for newness. This year it might be helpful for us to take a new look at our old stories.

Too often we believe we are who we are because we have created a story based on old beliefs or an old outlook. This story may have gotten us far;

however, it may be neccessary to rewrite some of our longstanding narratives. Here are few ways to write your life story anew:

Victory -- Focus on ways you have been triumphant as opposed to defeated.  

Support-- How has the world, family, and friends supported you as opposed to hindered you

Wellness-- In order for you to be where you are today, there had to be some great things about you. Rewrite your story that highlights your wellness and strengths.
